Synopsis:
Adolfo is an artist gifted with incredible talent. His paintings have won the admiration and respect of the church authorities, and Adolfo wants nothing else but to devote himself to God as a priest. But Adolfo is also just a man. Day after day he struggles with impure thoughts and fantasies about a girl he is infatuated with -- the sweet and lovely Michaela. A part of Adolfo is telling him to abandon his ambition... and Adolfo must ultimately choose one path, before he falls into sin.

Review:
Sins of the Flesh is a rather daring hentai title. It uses the church and priesthood as a backdrop for the kinky events which transpire -- which some audiences may find objectionable.

The main character Adolfo is plagued by lurid sexual dreams about Michaela every night. His daily life is a struggle, as he is torn between his desire to be a priest and his desire to make Michaela his. Adolfo leaves me with the impression that what he feels for Michaela is little more than pure lust. Meanwhile, Michaela is portrayed as a demoness in his fantasies -- tempting and taunting him. There's also this mystery woman who seems to be the manipulative force behind the church people. She is not given any background at all and her presence is never explained. While the plot seems simple enough, things take some really unexpected turns. I rewinded the tape during the last part because I had trouble digesting the sudden shocking developments. Suffice to say, I felt really sorry for Michaela by the end of the video.

The art and animation are so-so and nothing to get excited about. The depiction of sex is quite graphic, as all parts of the male and female anatomies are shown. I didn't find the hentai scenes particularly engaging, possibly due to the fact that most of them are rendered in somewhat monochromatic semi-darkness. Overall, I can't really recommend Sins of the Flesh. It's not the worst I've seen, but it's also far from being any good.
