Synopsis:
An accident with a female pedestrian causes Koji to be late for his job interview at the restaurant Pia Carrot. Luckily, the owner still decides to hire him and he starts working as a waiter right away. As fate would have it though, the female pedestrian Koji collided with, Azusa, is also going to be working at Pia Carrot... and Azusa hates Koji's guts!

Review:
Amusing and funny, Pia Carrot 2 is mainly about Koji's romantic adventures in Pia Carrot. Koji gets involved with a different girl each episode, and all this happens while Azusa tries to make life hell for him. Pia Carrot 2 has nothing to do with the first Pia Carrot series, they just share the same setting.

Unlike most hentai titles, Pia Carrot 2 actually focuses more on story and characterization rather than sex. I was very surprised to find that in each episode there would always be only one lengthy sex scene near the end when the plot culminates, such that it's almost not hentai. Since it's a romantic comedy, even situations that are supposedly serious end up being humorous. Koji's adventures range from helping the pretty manager Ryoko come out of her shell to providing a pleasurable first sexual experience for his co-worker. What Koji has is a dream job for any normal guy.

Visually speaking, Pia Carrot 2 is quite exceptional. Attractive character designs and vibrant backdrops make up the whole series. Sex is depicted graphically, although there aren't really any kinky activities featured. Most of the time it's just good old-fashioned straight concensual sex. I thought the sex scenes were done just right and were actually fitting for the series, but those who crave more daring sexcapades may be bored by the humdrum. The English dubbing is okay for most part, not superb but not bad either.

Overall I enjoyed Pia Carrot 2. It's all very light-hearted and simple, but the series is executed with such charm that I could not help but be pleasantly entertained by it. Certainly a welcome break from the debauchery hentai titles usually offer.

Pia Carrot 2 spans three episodes. It's based on a popular bishoujo game of the same title, but the game is only available in Japanese.
