Synopsis:
Four years ago, Rei-Lan was a government agent in pursuit of the notorious drug lord Tojo. But it was Rei-Lan who fell into Tojo's hands, and he possessed her body as well as her heart. With Tojo, Rei-Lan experienced pleasures that she never thought possible. Their carnal bond is further sealed by the Dragon Sex Tattoo, which fates them to reach ecstasy with no other partner except each other. But Rei-Lan discovers something that prompts her to run away. After four years, Rei-Lan once again seeks Tojo, but this time it's for revenge.

Review:
Orchid Emblem sports a simple plot that is majorly interwined with sex. I suppose this makes packing in a whole lot of adult material easier, because Orchid Emblem certainly doesn't skimp on the sex scenes.

Since Orchid Emblem has a clear-cut storyline, there isn't much to ponder about. Instead, Orchid Emblem assaults the senses with human eroticism. Everyone's just plain lusty. The characters lack depth in general, as most of the attention is focused on Rei-Lan. Yet even so, Rei-Lan herself isn't all that well-defined. It is established that she's a beautiful, sexy, and very sensual woman but no deeper insights are provided to her character. Orchid Emblem also provides a small helping of violent and bloody scenes. The language is unforgivingly vulgar, lots of four-letter words and dirty lingo you usually hear in porn flicks.

The art is nice. The girls look quite good, and the bodily proportions are just right. The animation leaves a little something to be desired, as it is not very smooth. Tojo is the only man who looks any good, and even then he's no dreamboat. The lower genitals are rendered invisibly for some reason (like in "Magical Twilight"). Still, you can clearly see what act it is they are performing on which part of the anatomy. There are some explicit lesbian stuff which are entirely unrelated to plot development, obviously added for the hentai value. The English dubbing is okay, if you don't mind the fact that Rei-Lan sounds more like an amateur porn star rather than an innocent Japanese girl during her first time.

Summing it up, Orchid Emblem is an average hentai feature that's somewhat entertaining.
