Synopsis:
Lately, some female students and even one female faculty member have vanished without a trace at the Otori Academy. They are said to have transferred to other schools, but Mao and her friends begin to doubt that as more and more of these sudden "transfers" occur. What's more, rumor has it that a masked man is responsible for the disappearances...

Review:
Inma Seiden is a tentacle-infested hentai title along the lines of the infamous "La Blue Girl", except that Inma Seiden makes an effort to present a more complex plot. It should have been a good thing, but it's not because the story flow assumes that you already know the characters and the situation... even if most of us probably don't. We aren't introduced to the main players, we don't get any background information, and the worst part is... we're left with no conclusion.

Something sinister is going on at the Otori Academy. Girls are getting sexually assaulted by horrific monsters complete with writhing tentacles and a gargantuan penis the size of your leg. After they are violently raped, their life essences are sacrificed to some stone statues for who knows what purpose. It would've been the school's best kept secret if not for Mao and her friends. Mao, her sister Kaori, and her cousin Hitomi apparently hail from a family of powerful spiritualists. When Mao's best friend Senna becomes one of the victims, it's not long after the demons come after Mao. I really couldn't follow the purpose of the female sacrifices, nor do I have any idea who the real mastermind is. All we can be sure of is that the school principal has something to do with it, and that Kaori also has plans of her own. I couldn't really tell if Kaori was one of the good guys or bad guys. Then there's the case of the missing teacher. As it turns out, she was kidnapped and then dumped in a prison with an insane man who just keeps calling her "Rikako" and ravages her body day in and day out. After that teacher goes insane, another female faculty member is brought in to replace her as the man's sex toy.

By the end of the third episode, we're still where we started. The demonic rapes continue and the protagonists (as well as the audiences) are clueless. So what's the f*cking point? I recall the school principal saying "We're halfway there," after three sacrifices. I guess that just means there are three more episodes to go before we get to any form of conclusion. I just have no idea if Nutech will release additional Inma Seiden episodes should there be any more.

The art and animation are good in general. I liked majority of the character designs, except maybe for Mao, and they don't skimp on the details when it comes to the sex scenes. Every tentacle is lovingly rendered as it penetrates every possible orifice, I just couldn't stomach the leg-sized penis forcing its way inside the girls' lower genitalia. The English dubbing is okay in general, the actors and actresses just have a tendency to mispronounce the Japanese names.

Inma Seiden had promise, but the half-baked and screwed-up storytelling ruins what could have been an above average series. Still, if you enjoy tentacle hentai, this is probably one of the better ones out there.
