Don't be amazed. I think this is mostly a question of searching one's MP3- and Audio CD collection, like in my case.

Yeah, really not that hard at all.

Lilium from Elfen Lied would be on my list too.
Think I night also include the Ghost in the Shell SAC season 1 opening theme.

I'd also include corsican corridor from Noir, but that's not a theme, that's a piece of score from Noir Soundtrack 1, which is ironically the only anime soundtrack I actually own. (I'd get a Perfect Blue soundtrack as well if I find it...)

My favourites tend to change all the time, but my latest infatuation would be Maaya Sakamoto's Triangular, the OP to Macross Frontier. And Diamond Crevasse, the ED to Macross Frontier, by May'n.

It'll take a while to think of OPs or EDs I hate, but I guess one old one I really disliked was the first OP to YUA, where it was some old dude wailing. Generally I don't remember stuff I hate, since I don't listen to them more than once or twice anyway.

I would like to add: GaRei Zero Opening - Paradise Lost - sung by Chihara Minori.
This is the original music video of the full version.

What does "PV" mean, by the way?

I have no clue. I liked that one, though.

Here's one I've been liking lately.

It ain't bad, nice song and all, but I've already seen better dance performances in Anime. :D

Which reminds me of a little video I have seen lately...

Another shippuden ending I happen to like. I went back to just before Azuna's death in the anime and started watching from there.

I can hold some ones.

I have a taste for Yuki Kajiura's work, so her Ops/Eds tend to be my cup of tea.

I hold specially dear:

Hitomi no Kakera - Madlax Op

Copellia no Hitsugi - Noir Op

Obsession - .Hack//Sign Op

Yasashii Yoake - .Hack//Sign Ed

And not from Kajiura:

Second Flight, by Kotoko - Onegai Twins (Please Twins) Op

Re-Sublimity, by Kotoko - Kannazuki no Miko Op (possibly the only thing worthy of a second thought in the whole mess... however, I prefer the helluva hard DDR remix)

Loosey, by The Stripes - Burst Angel Op

The hated ones... you could say it's the rest of them all

Finally got around to looking through my list to find all these various openings and endings. It's a rather lengthy list, sorry bout that, I have seen quite a few titles after all  Seems most of the opening or ending songs that I like I have downloaded at some point, but there were a couple stragglers in there that I only remembered after going over my list and listening to a number of the ones that rang a bell. Needless to say, it took me a while...

So here they are, in no particular order.

Favorites

Lunar Legend Tsukihime OP

Lunar Legend Tsukihime ED

Escaflowne OP

Wolf's Rain ED

Rahxephon ED

Elfen Lied OP

Berserk ED

Crest of the Stars ED

Banner of the Stars II ED

Requiem from the Darkness OP

Requiem from the Darkness ED

Gasaraki ED

Black Lagoon ED

Bleach ED2

Cowboy Bebop OP

Samurai Champloo ED

Ergo Proxy OP

Record of Lodoss War OVA OP

Yu-Gi-Oh OP 1

Yu-Gi-Oh OP 4

Space Pirate Captain Herlock OP

Scrapped Princess ED

Golgo 13 Queen Bee OP and ED
Warning, at about 1:20 there is an ending scene to the movie that lasts about 30 seconds or so.

Inuyasha ED 2

Petite Cossette OP

Petite Cossette ED

Serial Experiments Lain OP

Trinity Blood OP

I know a lot fewer of the ones I dislike since if I hear it and don't like it, I don't listen to it anymore and it thus it is not remembered very well. As such, and in an effort to not make this post epically long, here's just a couple:

Least Favorite:

Elfen Lied ED

Orphen's Revenge OP 2

My favorite OP/EDs
The ones I really like the best!!

Last Exile ED

Shingetsutan Tsukihime ED

Noir ED

Gungrave ED

Hunter x Hunter Second OP. I liked everyone of the EDs and OPs from this series and OVAS though.

GTO First OP

There are lots more I love, but this are definitely the ones that I could watch again and again
I was thinking we should have a favorite ed and op contest!! Just as the Favorite character contest we used to have, with the same format.
I think this could work better since, anyone, having watched or not the series, can vote. The voting could be solely based on the op and ed quality, music, lyrics, art. It could be fun. We just need to post the videos from youtube. And let the voting open to the members for a few days.

Location: Tokyo, you're due for another attack from Yours Truly!
Since I feel raising this topic from the dead, here's my list of OP/EDs of all time. Of course, this is in no particular order and they're not the full versions of the songs either. This list will be updated regularly.

OPs:
Cruel Angel Thesis(Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Rinbu Revolution(Revolutionary Girl Utena)

Gravitation(Heroic Age)

Geki Teikoku Kagekidan(Sakura Wars)

Yuzurenai Negai(Magic Knight Rayearth)

Gun X Sword Opening Theme(Gun X Sword)

Big O!(Big O)

Kaze no Nemuru Shima(Neo Ranga)

EDs:

Chin ~Requiem(Betterman)

Yuukyou Seishunka(Code Geass)

Madoromi no Rinne(Utawarerumono)

But the best theme song in Japanese is "Gamera's Theme"!!! :P2: j/k...but it's still a fun song.
