Actually I hate to make a "survey" thread but I just want to know what is the best anime OP/ED themes you ever seen and heard.

FAVE:

1. Tsubomi -blue dreams- by Suara
-- Ending theme for Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Gikyoku~ --

While the opening song Blue was good but the ending theme is little bit better than opening.

2. Yūkyō Seishunka by ALI Project
-- First ending theme for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion --

Possibly the only song from Code Geass that I like.

3. Motto! by Nogawa Sakura
-- Opening theme for Magikano --

Brings the mood of show very well.

4. Mirai no Eve from ALI Project
-- Ending theme for Avenger --

The only ending theme which is better than the actual show itself.

LEAST FAVE:

1. R*O*C*K*S by Hound Dog
-- First opening theme of Naruto --

Sounds like an old man try to be a rock star.

2. Sunny Side Up by Yo Hitoto
-- Opening for Aishiteruze Baby --

While the song is good but more suitable as ending than opening.

3. All songs in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion except Yūkyō Seishunka(ALI Project)

They are generally good but they are more at home in shounen-ai shows like Kyo Kara Maoh than scifi-fi/mecha/political show like Code Geass.

Half of the music CDs I own are Japanese Anime soundtracks... it would be hard to make a decision which ones are my favorites... I'd have to think about that for a while.

These are in no order. I don't want to take too much time comparing.

AWESOME:

-"Tune from TSC (Breeeed)" by Taku Iwasaki (OP for Sadamitsu the Destroyer)

-"Lilium" by Kumiko Noma (OP for Elfen Lied)

-"Danzai no Hana~Guilty Sky" by Riyu Kosaka (ED for Claymore)

-"Red Fraction" by MELL (OP for Black Lagoon)

-"Paranoid Android" by Radiohead (ED for Ergo Proxy)

-"Zen" by Attack Haus (1st OP for Otogi Zoshi)

-"The Sacred Moon" by Toshiyuki Omori (OP for Tsukihime)

-"Inner Universe" by Origa (OP for GITS SAC)

-"Yasashii Yoake" by See-Saw (ED for .hack//sign)

SHIT:

-"Tell Me Why" by PENPALS (OP for Berserk)

-"Waiting So Long" by Silver Fins (ED for Berserk)

-"the WORLD" by Nightmare (1st OP for Death Note)

-"Flame" by Keiko Lee (OP for Requiem from the Darkness)

-"The Moment of Love" by Keiko Lee (ED for Requiem from the Darkness)

-"HEAT ISLAND" by Rhymester (OP for Samurai Horror Tales)

-"R*O*C*K*S" by Hound Dog (1st OP for Naruto)

I'm not sure if I got all of the bad stuff. I tend to block those out of my mind. Horrible memories, man.

Some my favourites are:

Rise - Origa (GITS:SAC 2nd Gig OP)
D-tecnoLife - UVERworld (Bleach 2nd Op)
1/3 no Junjou no Kanjou - Siam Shade (Rurouni Kenshin 6th ED)
HOWLING - abingdon boys school (Darker than Black 1st OP)
Red Fraction - Mell

I don't tend to keep track of songs I don't like but a few that come to mind are:

Bomb a Head (Tenjo Tenge OP)
Happy People (Bleach 4th ED)

Also it kind of doesn't count but the English dub OP for One Piece was truly horrific, one of many crimes 4Kids entertainment have committed against One Piece.

I'll try and come up with some of my favorite opening/ending songs.
I won't have any least favorites to offer, because... well, because I don't memorize the titles of songs I don't like. I beg your pardon. And again because it's a bit much... as I said, my CD collection consists mainly of Anime soundtracks.

I'm amazed you guys can actually remember all of those. Off the top of my head I do have a few.

'Lilum" (spelled wrong sorry) Elfin Lied opening
The ending to Karas 1

And to tell the truth that's all I can think of.

Don't be amazed. I think this is mostly a question of searching one's MP3- and Audio CD collection, like in my case.

I have provided all of my music information above with YouTube links so that everyone knows what I'm talking about.

I have only checked a few links. If anything doesn't work, please let me know.
