Hi! How's it going? I haven't visited animetric.com and the forums in a long time and I'm glad to see it's alive and kicking.

I think I've permanently lost all interest in anime, I haven't watched any since the last review I wrote, which I think was Howl's Moving Castle. These days I just spend my days tending to our cement business, taking care of my kids, playing Nintendo Wii games, and writing.

Anyways are the people I knew back in the old forums still here? How are you guys? Thanks, hope to hear from y'all.

Hi Rowena! It's good to see things are still going well with you. :D

Don't worry too much about having lost interest in anime. People's tastes change, and people do move on. It's a sad, but altogether common thing about life. I just hope you're enjoying what life is offering you now! Feel free to stay and chat though!

Hi Rowena! Great to see you stop by the site! I hope everything is going well for you, and from your comments it does seem to be doing just that.

Oh, I feel honored that you bless us with such an official message. :D
Your Animetric efforts brought me the best online hang-out place in the world, there's hardly an end to my gratitude. I enjoyed it very much in the old days and I'm still enjoying it today, despite the loss of former top active members whom I hold in high regard. They cannot be replaced but they have been succeeded very well.
I'm glad you and your family are... uh, no, not genki, actually I meant to say "fine". Now that you lost your interest in Anime I hope you're not regretting your choice of names for your kids?

Oh, say, you wouldn't be able to teach the current administration how to merge threads? 8)

Don't take it too serious. I am not doubting your skills. But there must be some sort of add-on that makes merging threads possible. We did it three years ago, so it should be possible today. This kind of administration tool cannot have vanished from the internet into thin air.

lol, don't worry I'm not taking it seriously, I guess I didn't accurately portray that :D

There was that mod I mentioned, it seems to be the only one about that merges threads for phpbb2, but when I installed it it didn't quite work. (For some reason they never actually made an official, compatible version, it was just a general mod that has a bunch of different code tweaks and revisions to make it work with different versions.)

I've no idea why phpbb2 doesn't have a merging feature built into it, but phpbb3 does (I'm sure most of them others do as well). So whenever an official version of phpbb3 gets released (and I try to tackle switching the versions), we will gain merging capabilities. Until then though, we appear to be stuck.

The queen has returned. And then disappears. Yeah, good to see you still lurking about from time to time.

Nothing wrong with that, long as we get to see you from time to time.
