Caiorbrz, I didn't know that I apologize. And I also want to say, I HATE YOU MONEY BAGS!!! :evil: Lucky bastard. :mrgreen:

This was a joke, you have my respect. But I'm only 20 titles away so that make me feel good enough.

I'm amazed. Even I have about 20 (about a dozen on DVD and eight or nine titles on tape).

Refer to some random thread (too lazy to search) on Brazilian taxes and customs.

World = Original Price
World outside US (lol) = Original Price + Shipping
Brazil = (Original Price + Shipping) x 2

Besides I only started buying last year as I got a good job (which I quit :roll: )

I already talked to my wife and my first next paycheck (on next job) will be totally wasted on anime imports :lol:

Thats how much I've watched now. I'm not including the stuff I watched partially.

I plan on watching at least 100 more. After that I will be pretty much done with anime of the past. Then it will be time to watch the current releases.

Sh*t... are there any reasonable reasons?

Well Australia has their own region anime DVDs, so you don't really need to pay for shipping. But then the Aussie dollar has kinda hiked up in the recent days, and since I'm not a local and just an international student, that does effect me as in.... everything there is now more of a bloody ripoff than it used to be. Although the Aussie dollar did drop recently, but its still kinda up there.

Anyway I only own ONE series that I can safely say is legitimate. Those Love Hina VCDs(well they were sponsored by F&N, they should be real? But the Malaysian government is weird and totally blur on some issues), and that Chobits and Nadesico 9-episode-per-DVD-lawl HK DVDs(the Nadesico had horrible subs).... I'm not sure if I can call them legitimate. Even if my own damn country sticks ORIGINAL DVD stickers on them. And every damn anime DVD they sell are HK imports, so my only source is either.... importing or I can buy some while I'm in Australia. Which I think I'm forced to watch on my computer, since they are like Region 4 DVDs. I'm not sure how well they work with the players back home, and I'm not sure if they are modded to be regionless. Well I guess theres my modded NTSC J PS2.... but that thing is getting old and I rather not burn it out watching anime DVDs.

In fact that's true, and it's the same region as Brazil (4). I once thought about trying to import from Australia instead. Are Australian subs good? do you know any trustfull import sites?

I don't know about import sites... I just walk to the store to buy stuff. As for subs being any good.... well I found nothing wrong with the Outlaw Star I bought, so I guess sub quality should be as good as whatever America produces.

Well, since I've never had a powerful line, I haven't been ableto watch that much anime until streaming sites got popular.

I calculate I've watched up to 40 series, and maybe I've completed 25.
