you know, im suprised to find that someone hasn't posted one from them allready, okey its an old show, and not everyone likes ramstein and Linkin Park or any sort of metal, which for some reason is what people mainly use for Evangelion AMV for some odd reason.

in any case the first one im going to post is one that i saw a long time ago, and for me personally its this AMV i think of when i hear the song Frozen.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Maddona; Frozen

I've always liked this Evangelion AMV. It's well made, and is very emotional.

All american rejects- "It ends tonight"

Title-Nightmare

A Perfect Circle's Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums

This actually won an award at Otakon 05. The editing is incredible, and the song tends to get hypnotizing after a few listens. Have to admit, this one's really grown on me and is my pick for the contest.

Let me enter another AMV for the contest.
acmurohy's list calls Evangelion "not really good", but that doesn't make this video less enjoyable I think:

Shin Seiki Evangelion - Beer

Hey...here's one that contains parts from the first "rebuild" movie. The song kicks ass, and getting to see the pumped up visuals is nice.

"Beautiful World" by Hikaru Utada

Here are some that I enjoy myself:

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Paint it Black; Rolling Stones
http://youtube.com/watch?v=9nEsxVNfbew

Neon Genesis Evangelion- Chop Suey; System of a Down
http://youtube.com/watch?v=fI50Wv0HhUY

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Iron Man; Black Sabbath
http://youtube.com/watch?v=bHzI6wJ53eY

I'm sure people here have seen them before, but I don't care I really like them.
Thanks, and enjoy.

And another one for the contest...

Most of you won't understand a word, since RAMMSTEIN usually performs in German...
Yes, this is the

Shin Seiki Evangelion - Engel video
by Kevin Caldwell.

I saw this in... 1999 at some convention, and it got me really hooked to AMVs in general, and it showed me that RAMMSTEIN had more to offer than I thought - their early albums are not much better than "so-so".
This video is an early masterpiece of lipsynching, it doesn't have anything like a storyline or anything, it's a classic in itself, one of the first "perfect videos" that made people stand in awe.

There's a horrible English version by RAMMSTEIN as well, featuring the same footage. Just a sidenote.

Some more Evangelion amvs to submit:

Evangelion: Green Day - She's a Rebel

Evangelion: The Beatles - Yesterday

Evangelion: Nickelback - Savin' Me

Edit: No, I'm not just going to YouTube and linking random amvs that I find.
All the amvs I submit, I have either searched a while to find good ones that I actually enjoy.
I'm posting amvs of shows that I have seen and enjoy, and amvs that have the songs that go with them that fit and are put together well.

Thanks.

Here's my last entries, all of which are made by the same guy who did the "it ends tonight" amv.

The Avalanches-Frontier Psychiatrist

The funkiest song I've ever heard, mixed with the mind-raping fun of Evangelion. Pretty damn good, and the editing is well done.

Afroman-She Won't let me fuck

This still makes me laugh. The first viewing is the best though.

The used-Take it away

I like the timing in this, especially when Shinji kicks in the sand pyramid.

All American Rejects-Can't take it

This is very well done. I just really like it

That's it for me!

Worth watching, but after the first half it begins to drag.

Frank Zappa with Moon Unit Zappa- Valley Girl

I think this AMV is hilarious in the fact that the song matches Asuka perfectly. Fantastic quality. I wish there are more AMVs using Frank Zappa's songs because I think he is one of the greatest and most underrated musicians of all time. His songs are AMV worthy, without a doubt. Though some of his songs are bizarre as hell, but they still kick ass!

Well, the lyrics are interesting, as expected, but the sound is so repetitive and kinda monotonous I had to force myself to watch to the end.
Picture quality is really good, and so is editing.

This AMV is quite clever, and the song is a mashup of "Frontier Psychiatrist" by The Avalanches and a Gnarls Barkley song which i don't know the name. In any case, "Frontier Psychiatrist" is a song that suits Shinji Ikari very well but when combined with the funky vocals of Gnarls Barkley, you got yourself a winning pair there.

Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Song: The Avalanches - "Frontier Psychologist"/Gnarls Barkley "Crazy" Mashup
Performed by: DJ Cheekyboy

I think that's it, thank you. :D I'm not too big of a Gnarls Barkley fan so i don't follow his music nor know much of his song titles since that is the case, but that song mashed up with "Frontier Psychologist" was a good comination.
