well if we're going to have some sort competition someone should bloody well put something up shouldn't they?

so here's one of my all time favorites, one of the first AMV i ever watched really, and you can't disagree that the song chosen not only fits the images chosen but the whole end of the series really

so without further ado, Cowboy Bebop Yesterday.

You got me confused... I thought the entries should be posted in the contest thread? Well, that's where I put them...

At least I wasn't the only one then. :)

Btw, this amv is one of my favorites too.

This has to be one of the best anime music videos ever done. It's very emotional, it makes me want to watch Cowboy Bebop again.

LIfe is but a dream.

Here's the Cowboy Bebop section of my contest videos:

9. Cowboy Bebop: Moby - James Bond Theme (Remix)

I liked this piece of music from the first time I listened to it somewhen in the 90s. So I was very pleased to find this work by Vicbond only last year. It has great editing and mood and it was a smashing success in our Anime Club.

10. Cowboy Bebop: Skorpions - Still loving you

The Skorpions were the band of the German reunion when they released "Wind of Change" just when the Berlin Wall fell, and they incorporated this event in their official music video. Well, I'm not an outspoken fan of them, but they did a few good songs. "Still loving you" is probably the best, especially in this prolonged orchestrated version. It gives the AMV a great mood. I was very touched by it when I first saw it.
On a side note, the Skorpions are the band that was called "The Michael Schenker Group" in "Kachô Ouji - Legend of Black Heaven". The Schenker Brothers founded the band and Michael Schenker has retired from stage music to song writing a few years ago if I'm not mistaken.

11. Cowboy Bebop: VAST - I'm dying

This videon falls into the same category as #10. VAST creates a very good atmosphere, identical to the Skorpions I think, with the difference that "I'm dying" is not orchestrated. I had to keep this one, it really conveys some vibes.

12. Cowboy Bebop: Jim's Big Ego - Stress

A comedy video. The editing work is very convincing with the selection of scenes and all. Great song by the way.

13. Cowboy Bebop: BigBig Truck - Failed Experiments in Video Editing

Take heed and bear witness! It's not exactly a Cowboy Bebop AMV... I think it should be labelled an "E.K. video with Cowboy Bebop elements". :D Honestly, is there any fan of the (AMV) art who doesn't know this video? This is the mother of all "Render finger gestures" which I have seen on quite a few AMV contest pictures. E.K. did a great job in everything that makes up this video, and I must especially draw your attention to the soundtrack and the "additional art" (which is strictly speaking not additional but the main feature).

14. Cowboy Bebop: Backstreet Boys - Larger than Life

I just had to enter this one. Despite all the prejudices men usually have when it comes to this particular band this is one of the greatest videos ever made, imho at least. And it was about time we had a video that concentrates on Ed anyway. Show this video to an Anime-loving audience and you'll have them afloat with happiness. :D

15. Cowboy Bebop The Movie: Johnny Cash - Dressed in Black

When I first watched this video I felt like kneeling down in front of the screen to honor E.K.'s genius.
I mean, this is 18 seconds and still one of the most impressing videos I have ever seen, as expected from BigBig Truck... I think the quality of her videos indeed stems from the fact that she doesn't make many of 'em. Concentrated creativity.

Finest amv I've ever seen, seriously, that was just great. 10/10.

Yes, 18 seconds and no more: "Oh, Jesus... I can't do this...".
That's the concept.

Okey dokey, here is a Cowboy Bebop amv that I personally enjoy.

Cowboy Bebop: Weezer - Only In Dreams
Since I am a fan of Weezer and Cowboy Bebop, I found this amv to go together really well.

Cowboy Bebop: Our Lady Peace - Somewhere out there
Another amv with a song that goes well with this series.

Enjoy.
