But an awesome and fun waste of time nonetheless. While the video itself is totally unfair and biased due to the fact that the Power Rangers cheated, it was supposed to be that way because the video was meant to be a parody of the very nature of Deadliest Warrior. That show does a piss-poor job at presenting the history and facts about the greatest historic fighters and their scientific experiments are a complete joke. I mean, in the Apache vs. Gladiator episode for example, they claimed that Roman gladiators were all deadly killers when in fact they're just slaves being thrown into the arena just to provide entertainment to the masses. Some were very deadly, but not all of them. The Apaches on the other hand, were capable (for at least a little while) of fighting off a technologically advanced military (the U.S.) by using hit and run tactics, so what does a performing slave have against that? I might be a little wrong there, but my point is that there are so many scenarios and factors that the producers have overlooked and the presentation falls completely on it's face. Same thing could be said for Jurassic Fight Club, but I'm not gonna let my geekery get in the way.

Also, you gotta love the AVGN's appearance in it. :D

Long rant aside, this topic is inspiring me to come up with a new Top 5 list! Stayed tuned!

In that respect maybe they should made a match like "Vietcong Vs Taliban".
Both fought "a technologically advanced military (the U.S.)" with good success and since both conflicts happened only very recently we should have enough data to compare their capabilities.
But maybe such a thing is too real to fit into an entertainment format? I mean, Apaches, Gladiators, Zulus, Ninjas, pirates, knights, and what have you, are creatures from myth and legend, not from real life, right? :wtf:
There's a great comic strip from the FoxTrot series about that topic btw:

^ That comic strip goes perfectly with the topic. It reminds me of some of the things my relatives would say about certain classes.

In fact the were episodes that hadthe Nazi SS vs the Vietcong and the IRA vs the Taliban...and of course they were terribly executed as well. -_- If there's one thing I despise is hyperbole, particularly when it's in documentaries or educational/edutainment shows because exaggerated depictions can lead to irrationality and stupidity.
