It's time to tie these old bones to string and make it dance.

Recently went through the top 500 rated anime on ANN to build a beastly "Want To See" list. Not that I trust ratings, but what I can say is that my rating has almost never been above the average. I added just about anything that has the slightest chance of being good, regardless of what my opinion was when I sampled some of them 2 years ago.

I feel a lot more open to anime that have pure character development and no action scenes. I used to be obsessed about the idea of anime needing action or dark elements in order for me to enjoy them. I was pretty reluctant to watch Haibane Renmei back then and the main reason I watched it was because ratings were pretty beastly. That kind of machismo probably came from my roots of having watched nothing but blockbuster action movies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (not literally) when I was younger. I find it hard to read some of my old posts as well since it shows there too. I'm a lot more self-aware then I used to be.

Anyway, why the fuck is Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence already out of print? It's like Bandai bought the license and made a bluray transfer just to stop selling it in a year. Shit, and now I'm stuck with the old gimped Dreamworks DVD that isn't worth the electricity it takes to power a DVD player.

You've become your own show case model in terms of character development!
I used to like blood, guts, and all sorts of action much more when I was a teenager... when I was 22 or 23 it suddenly changed dramatically to my surprise... hence my opinion about High School of the Dead. :vomit:
I could dare you to write a review about it... it'd be fun to read, no doubt about it. :0:-):

I have no plans of watching that anime since it looks like it would be shitty anyway. I've never been a fan of panty shots.
