Whether Aaron will include it in his Lust of Shame notes is up to him but here it is, straight from the source material:

I've been listening to Yura Yura Teikoku lately, they are a somewhat underground rock band from Japan. It really is an awesome band. They remind me a lot of Scoobie Do for their simple riffs and drumming, although they don't have the funk vibe that makes SD so great.

Here is a good song by Scoobie Do:

Now here is a song by Yura Yura Teikoku:

I would have really been surprised if these four guys had been able to eat 52 hotdogs. :P2:

In the last couple of months I've been listening a lot to:
The Mountain Goats: The Mountain Goats are an American indie rock band formed in Claremont, CA by singer-songwriter John Darnielle. In 2005, New Yorker critic Sasha Frere-Jones praised Darnielle as "America's best non-hip hop lyricist."[1] In 2006, Darnielle was included in Paste Magazine's list of the 100 Best Living Songwriters.[2]
Seriously the lyrics in all the songs are genius.

Arcade Fire: I thought they were really good and liked most of their stuff, and was very surprised when I read on the internet they managed to win a Grammy for album of the year, that means the critics there are not completely deaf, still I liked their first two albums a lot better than the latest which achieved said award.

Elbow: These guys have excellent music, I don't know why I didn't hear about them sooner. They have some really good ballads and a few very awesome rocking pieces!!
Here's a cool take on one of their songs:

I'm outright impressed. Even the video is a joy because they have such good-looking fiddlers. :P2:

Yes, that blonde girl on the violin seems like she is really enjoying herself, haha, I think that's what makes her so attractive.

Today I've been listening a lot to Katie Melua, I finally got to warm up to her last album, at first I didn't like the sound much since she had partially abandoned her acoustic and more classical style, but appreciate it better now. I looked up some videos on youtube and this one caught my attention, it has an awesome choreography, and she just sits there in the middle of it all and plays the piano, she looks absolutely gorgeous :wuv: . To me it's hard to understand how her talent is not known by a lot of people in this part of the world (the American continent), the only people I know that listen to her music are family members and friends who I've shared her music with.
