You can find those everywhere in SE Asia. But then I am in Australia, so I kinda just got them at the local Woolsworth.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant the pictures above your desk.

Its printouts of the Odin Sphere artbook. Above them is the 4 posters for the Kara no Kyokai movies that I printed out. I never use my printer so I decided to waste the ink hahaha.

I updated my shelf picture because that picture was really old. That was back when the only anime I had was Blue Gender.

I have disposed of all those VHS tapes except for the 3 on the bottom, which I haven't watched yet. I plan on replacing them with Blu-ray. I also bought some new games. I'm going to need a new shelf soon.

I love having money. I think my next update to this thread will be when I buy my 32" 1080p Sharp TV. My current TV sucks so badly that I haven't resorted to watching anything on it. The sound sucks and I think the remote is broken. I unfortunately need $1200 to buy the TV I want, which will take a whole 2 months.

Did you shoot that with a cell phone camera or why does it appear so small?

It's bigger, 544x930 pixels, which is not enough to actually guess the titles that are not in a box with a picture on the back, and you forgot to take your breakfast bowl off the shelf.

Thats why we have the anime/dvd/manga collection thread. I just don't want to update that yet, since right now it isn't all that different from the one I posted.

As for games, if you really want to see what I have then I can PM you a close-up of it.

Never mind... I just thought that taking a picture of your collection was the purpose of your undertaking. This way it's just a shelf with DVDs on that does not say much about your room.

But it's okay. I didn't want to critisize anything.

Sharp Aquos 37" 1080p

Oh yes boys and girls, I have gotten that which I desire. I do not regret my spending of over $1000.

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/5172/dscf0160jy1.jpg

Now lets talk features.

http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/9130/dscf0172nd2.jpg

You can't see everything from the picture, but the Sharp comes with:

3 composite (A/V) inputs
2 component inputs
2 HDMI inputs
1 coaxial input (for analog cable! what I use)
1 VGA input (connect PC)
2 analog audio outputs
1 digital audio output
1 s-video output
1 USB port
1 headphone jack

http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/9030/dscf0167yb5.jpg

In terms of packaging content, it can't get any better. As pictured, it comes with a wire-clamp to keep your wires from going all over the place and tangling. It also comes with the batteries for the remote, and an angled piece of metal used to screw in the screws for the stand, and intructions for installing.

http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9122/dscf0175to0.jpg

The menu is just plain awesome. You can change the picture and sound in any way you want, comes with preset display modes (black bars for 4:3, Zoom, Stretch, and Side Strecth. Stretch will be the one you will probably use since its the main widescreen). Do you constantly want to change from blurry for old games to sharp for newer ones? You can make like 5 option sets which can be easily accessed from the remote.

Speaking of the remote, its completely universal. I have not tried it on anything else myself, but it looks like it is universal to me. One of the great features is the Favorite Channel buttons, where you set the 4 of them to channels and makes it easy to access what you want.

I am only scratching the surface here, since I just got it and don't even have something that uses HD. But I fucking love it.

I just can't wait until I get a PS3, and some component cables for my older systems. Currently I cannot use my TV to its fullest extent.

One good thing is that turning the sharpness all the way down makes my older stuff look WAY better. It significantly reduces noise and smooths pixels (as you can see from the first picture).

My pictures in this thread are disgustingly old. I've gotten a million games since then.

TV and consoles
Most cartridge games
PS3, Wii, 360, Xbox, Gamecube games
PS2, PSX, N64 games
Old PC games
Newer PC games
Anime collection that hasn't changed much

I Wow, you got a lot of consoles there, do you still use all of them?! I see Guild Wars there in your PC games, nice! GW2 is coming out soon I believe, it looks pretty awesome. Oh, your anime collection is pretty impressive as well, not to mention the games!
