A quote of a very well written article on Gamespot.com. Its about the loss of Wii sells in 2009.

So I was surfing GameInformer and I stumbled upon news of Final Fantasy XIII for anyone who cares. Final Fantasy XIII has been given an official release date of 3/9/2010, which is a lot earlier then I thought it was going to be. I'm excited, in February Star Ocean comes out and then March will be Final Fantasy month.

I just saw this in my email. If I pass, it's only because I think it's for PS3 and I don't see myself picking one up any time soon.

FFXIII will be out for the 360 as well, not just the PS3.

I'm not much of an online person in terms of video games, but thanks for the tip. So it wasn't TOO emo as it's been promoted as being? Don't have to bring out a tissue box when getting to the sad parts...?

Well the demo only allowed me to play 2 parts of the game and those parts didn't have too emo of a feeling. The game basically plays out like a movie where you have to press buttons to continue the movie. If I rent it when it comes out I'll let you know if the other parts of the game get too much.

Yeah I've been following this game ever since it was announced and the various gameplay trailers (if you can call that gameplay) seem interesting...its like a point and click adventure only more advanced :P2:

Oh man, as if Naruto wasn't distracting enough- Portal is now free. I've been putting off even looking at this game with the lame, but super effective, excuse that "I don't have time or money- especially money!" They just hosed that excuse.

If this game is half as good as it's reputation (fun & unique), I might be in trouble...

I think i saw that bit of news today on G4 when i was watching Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke. During one of the commercial breaks, The Feed with Blair Herter was covering that particular story. Of all the G4 hosts i know, Blair definitely pulls off his goofy humor somewhat but definitely has the look and possibly lives the lifestyle of the geek who lives in his mom's basement playing video games all day. Back when he was still on MTV hosting After Shows for RW/RR Challenges, he often described himself as that type of guy but of course, it was for comedic effect. Nice to see that effect still gets a laugh from me. :booyah:
