After getting it approved by Sir Aaron, i'm sure that many of you gamers besides appreciating the graphics of a video game, or the controls or how difficult passing the game may be, are also huge fans of the score that the musicians cook up in their labs to please the gamers who love whatever audio the players feel is either memorable for whatever inner reason or feel that a piece of score from a particular VG is of great quality and should be displayed. This Youtube thread is a dedication to the wonderful pieces of music that subconsciously kept us interested in playing games further when without even one audio track, some players probably would've given up quickly due to boredom.

To start this kicker off, i give you an oldie but a goodie and a rave favorite of mine. Though it became part of the Ridge Racer Revolution soundtrack in the PS One, it got it's arcade start on Ridge Racer 2. This track is "Drive U 2 Dancing" performed by SamplingMastersAYA (aka Ayako Saso). Enjoy!!! And may the VG soundtrack revolution go on!!!

I'll try to keep it one song per game.
Spoiler

The music in D2 is so atmospheric, any song in the game could be used here.

No list is ever complete without this.

This here is the score played during the "Windy Hill" segment of the "Windy Valley" stage of Sonic Adventure. Out of the three parts to that stage, the "Windy Hill" song was always my favorite due to being it's somewhat calming atmosphere in a stage where everything is being gone with the wind (no pun intended).

If those are the tunes you love, by all means go to Youtube and see if they're on display and post them here. That's what this thread is for, for everyone to show their particular love of VG music through Youtube. :d^_^b:

Back on topic, this piece of VG music comes from one of my all-time favorite SNES games, Uniracers. Out of all the rockin' beats of this particular game, this one is my preferred #1 tune to listen to while racing those unicycles through the loops, straights, and grease pits. Enjoy!!!

Those who have played Destruction Derby 2 know that in the music sector, the method was switched from the electronic techno that the first one had to traditional good ol' rock n' roll sound. The 2 bands that provided the music for DD2 were called Jug and Tuscan. Here's one of Tuscan's contributions to the DD2 score which is also one of my favorites.

Here's a demonstration of just how different the music score style between the original Destruction Derby and the sequel were. Despite the fact that both games were made by Psygnosis; the same company that made the Wipeout games at that time in the 90s; obviously with the DD games, their aim was to be different with each game so as not to come off as too repetitive. A method i certainly can salute. Matter of fact, this piece of music from DD1 is my most favorite. Enjoy, car carnage fans! :booyah:
