Nice Goku! Really true to the original style and a dynamic pose.

As for capoiera, I imagine that the fact that the martial art is a Brazillian fighting style and that the fighting shows are done in Japan is the major reason they don't feature those characters more. It is probably a combination of several of the following issues:

= National pride regarding their own styles of fighting (karate, judo)
= The reverence and respect Japan still shows to the Chinese progenitors (a thread in itself, probably)
= Their ignorance about the details of capoiera and a reluctance to look stupid by screwing something up.
= Not wanting to be too weird so that it damages sales (more of their Japanese target audience will identify with Karate than Capoiera)

At least they don't promote sumo more. I really don't want to see the anime expertise of body animation usually applied to female anatomy applied to naked male body fat...

Looks like a mix of Baiken and Anji...both from Guilty Gear..ha...

Still very nice work...I can't draw like that unless I'm copying from something else...

See like this one...which wasn't finished but it was from looking at a magazine...oh and done by a pen...good thing I didnt make any mistakes...ha...

I'll upload something I tried to do myself just so you can see how bad I am when trying to draw something original...

I assume the dots in the pictures are the colors that you used?
Does that serve a purpose?

It's not just me? Somehow 7 times out of 10, I prefer the black and white sketch. My theory is that partially the colors remove cover up details (or just distract us with the color) and partially because in my mind's eye, I have an idea of what the colors would be or get used to black and white so when the colored version shows up, it just looks wrong. I wonder if we had seen the color first, would our reaction be different?

Still, a very cool drawing despite an impossibly impractical outfit! I wonder if that could be strategic though. There's no way she could stay in that outfit and still fight! :nose:

The dots of color on the side are the colors that are in the pic so that i'll always rememeber her color for future refrence, i forget so it helps me.

As for the black & white pics i just like coloring them. i still have the black & white & the sketch but it never fills right untill i color it.

Am I the only one here who thinks Ck's colored sketch is better than the black and white sketch? Awesome artwork as always, though personally I think Cocoa's sword would look better if the blade were more of a reddish or a fiery color. Btw, do you take requests by any chance Ck? :D

I don't mind color, but after several sketches I think it's a bit "thick".

Oh I'm easy to please and I'm not too picky either if that helps.

Anyway, I would like to draw Guyver for me. Made him be in a fighting pose or something. Here's a picture of Guyver if it helps.
