Respawn.

Back BRS there was a thread like this and the quote game was always fun.
I'll make two posts, first the rules, then my quote.

Rules of Engagement

For people unfamiliar with the game, I'll explain it in short:

Since I started the topic I'll give a quote like

"Have you ever felt the fighting spirit of another?" (dub).

A "quote" can be a simple sentence, but two or three lines of dialogue are also okay. Longer quotes should be avoided.
Sticking to the topic, the quote must be from an Anime, which means the original should be
Japanese and no live-action or puppet show and not from a game.
Now everybody who has an idea can post an answer which must contain the character who said it and from which Anime (s)he is from.
The correct answer to the given example would be like

"Dhalsim said it in Streetfighter II The Movie".

The person who gave the right answer first - and only that person - will be the next to post a quote after the answer has been affirmed.
The right to offer the following quote will expire after 72 hours and whoever reacts first after that time may then post the next one.
Also, if there's no affirmation after 72 hours: The first to grab initiative wins the next quote.
Vice versa, if nobody finds the answer within 72 hours, the original poster may offer another quote or declare that (s)he will pass. Another 72 hours will be given to find another quote to ponder.

Please keep the quote somewhat specific. It wouldn't do much good to offer a quote like

"Are you out of your mind?" or "Oh, I see..."

since phrases like that are pretty common, except if you deliberately accept several correct answers.
Be fair and use shows that Anime fans in general are likely to know. A quote from Kaiketsu Zorori for example might be rather puzzling.
Furthermore the quote should be in English, the translation used in the show, not your own translation from the original language! (This is just to make sure. I'm not the only one around who learned Japanese.)
And last but not least I think it's only fair to add whether the quote is from a subbed or a dubbed version, since translations can differ.

If anything remains unclear feel free to ask via PM. It's easier than it looks like.

I'm the topic-starter, so here I go with an easy one for starters:

"You wouldn't recognize a vampire if it jumped you and bit you right in your dick..." (dub)

Who said it in which show?

Blood the Last vampire I think, probably wrong but I'm going with my gut. I can't remember who said it though  If I got it wrong please post the answer 42317 since I don't think anybody can figure it out.

Since it has to do with vampires and I don't watch vampire anime very much, I'll go ahead and guess Trinity Blood . . .

Yeah, you're right... I forgot about the hints in the rules.
Hm... how many hints shall we have max? Will two be enough? We don't want a turn to last forever.

Hint #1:
The three main characters are all male.

Sorry for the wait. Friday I had forgotten that there would be a national holiday on monday.
Since I use the library for online work I didn't have a chance to keep up with my 72-hours plea.

No one yet?
No one yet...

Last hint:
The three main characters pretty much cover the stereotypes of "the Wild", "the intellectual Fighter" and "the Handsome".

See you on Saturday...

That'd be my guess to, mainly because it's the only newer anime to come out with more then two male leads.

Who said I was asking about what you call a "newer Anime"? I am amused. 8)
I'll be 30 in a few weeks, so allow me to use 90s stuff.

There's still time until tomorrow, though...

Well Generator Gawl came out in 1998, so it is a 90s anime . . . :P, anyway, I need to do more thinking . . .
