This is a thread where you can inform people with new release info, specifically ones that aren't noteworthy enough to be announced at news sites (such is the case with the Afro Samurai bluray release).

The one I'm most interested in is the new release of Otogi Zoshi. Media Blasters is rereleasing the series in two $30 collections separated by arcs, making the series cost less than half of the premium box set.

The first Death Note boxset has been added to Right Stuf at a retail price of $70, which is pretty good in my opinion.

In other interesting news, for some reason all the Funimation-Geneon releases have been re-labeled as Geneon's publishing.

That is interesting.

I noticed Rightstuf had started taking pre-orders for all their Black Lagoon stuff too. Already own the first season (which cost me an arm and a leg after it went out of print, doubly b/c I was going for the limited editions..) but that second season is going to be sexy. Can't wait to hear it in English (I'm a big fan of the Black Lagoon dub).

I haven't been keeping up with ANN's announcements, but incase it was never announced: According to Rightstuf, the Bluray edition of GITS2 that Bandai's releasing has both the American dub AND the UK dub. Already knowing the UK dub is awesome, nothing can go wrong in this case!

God bless blurays high storage.
