If you mean a sequel to FMP The Second Raid, no season is currently planned. They have a number of novels written to make a new series off of, so hopefully they will at some point.

I forget which company, maybe Tokyopop, will be releasing the FMP novels in the states soon. I cannot wait!

What is happening in the novel?

Afaik,
Spoiler
Kaname gets captured by Amalgam. Sousuke's Arbalest gets trashed by Tessa's bro's special, Lambda driver equipped AS. Sousuke enters a AS fighting league in Europe to learn about Amalgam. Sousuke gets another girl who has access to Black Technology. Girl builds Sousuke a new AS (I've seen pics of it: it looks like crap).

Personally I don't think it looks all that bad. Its not that different looking from the Arbalest anyway..... and it has some howitzer cannon thingy to boot.

Um, I haven't read any of the novels, nor do I know anything about whats happening in them. Well, except for what you wrote there... I don't have much of a problem with how it looks either. I mean, it isn't astounding, but its alright.

Note: I put your comments on the novels in spoiler tags so only people that want to know what happens after the end of TSR will read it.

Heh, sorry. Hope you're the only one who was spoiled.

The Arbalest was simple, yet looked effecient and effective, because all its parts meshed together. The Levaetein looks like a desecrated Arbalest because of all bling-bling.

Yeah, it doesn't look like crap, but I expected more from the Arbalest successor.

SĂ´suke was always like a brother to me... my daring military minded half.
Socially a little inept but competent in tools of destruction.

I thought that Second Raid had already become... well, a little tough, and I found it less good than the original series.
I love the comedy elements of Full Metal Panic, that's why I love Fumoffu! which many people dislike for the absence of a story line. Personally I would mind Full Metal Panic succumbing to the curses of the sequel... tougher fights, more drama, more blood - and often enough less humor.

I definitely see a third season in the works, since there is still plenty of story left to tell (starting with Dancing Very Merry Christmas)

And if they decide to do another Fumofu, then well that's fine too . . . (since the first one was EPIC)

"KILL! KILL! KILL!"

IDK, I really enjoyed the character development and introspection that came with the seriousness in TSR. While I love Fumoffu, it just doesn't have that same impact. The first one had some of the impact, but not to the same extent. I think the FMP franchise is large enough for them to make enough money to warrant making another season, but here hoping.

I'm with Acmurphy on this one. I liked the orginal season, loved Fumoffu and I really really love TSR because there is less goofing off and keeps things moving without any fluff and most of all the animation upgrade, yet to find better. I hope they make a 4th season, i think they will since they left so many cliff hangers.

On a side note does Arbelist get destroyed our something, I only got the anime and the first 8 mangas to go off of. In any case, the mech looks cool but I think they went over kill with the details, like they did with the later original universe of gundam, it just doesn't look that cool to me. But then again it does look kinda neat, I gues i'm undecided.
