Picked up a couple new DVDs from Rightstuf a few days ago:
Darkside Blues
Fencer of Minerva 1 & 2
Kirameki Project DVD Collection
Macross, Super Dimension Fortress 7
Toward the Terra Movie

Darkside Blues I watched something like 6 years ago and remember not being the biggest fan of it. However, I got it for cheap so I decided to give it another go. The Macross DVD is the last one to complete my set put out by ADV, so I was glad to finally finish that one off. The other ones I don't really know a whole lot about, but they helped me get my free shipping so I hope they're good!

I also bought two new hard drives with 1.5 terabytes each. I'm quite excited now since I'm going have have 4.5 terabytes of space to fill up :d^_^b: Or at least an extra two since I am pretty full right now, thus the need for more space!

You bought Kirameki Project!?
I'm surprised... have you ever seen it before?
It seems more suitable for girls or mecha (parody) fans.
Okay, I'm neither and I still liked it, but I don't know anyone else (besides a Loli-fan) who actually likes it.

I haven't seen Kirameki Project before, but I try to see most OVAs out there so this just goes along with that. I wouldn't have gotten it if it didn't have an age rating of 16+, so I'm hoping it isn't bad and any violence or fanservice it has will carry the rest of it through. Usually I watch these short OVAs and if they have some fanservice it can be satisfying for maybe an hour, but 150 minutes could really test me. I did try to find it online to check it out first, but I couldn't find a working torrent so I just gave up and said, what the heck I'll buy it.

I've never been big on anime parody shows, though I'd say I am a mecha fan if only a little, so here's hoping I end up liking it like you did.

I've bought Classic Media's Rodan/War of the Gargantuas 2-disc DVDs at Best Buy while I was on vacations, along with a pair of headphones since the one I previously had was starting to break on me.

I hope you enjoy that more than I did. I found the series to be pretty average but average anime series are a dime a dozen so I moved on after maybe 9 or 10 episodes. I also remember the action being toned down(it seemed like they were trying to appeal to a younger audience) and the animation was bland in some scenes.

I can only hope. It was either that or Kurau Phantom Memory and since I was already getting a sci-fi title I decided to go with a fantasy one to round things out.

We'll see someday. Knowing how long it takes me to get going on watching these things it could be years!

Yes, Daikon Brothers is certainly a great title.
And Innocent Venus is... somewhwere between "not bad at all" and "really good" I'd say.

Just bought (pre-ordered) the Wolverine Origins movie and I also ordered Howls Moving Castle. That Wolverines Origins just can't come out fast enough.

I've spent about $400 on books mostly, which is not bad compared to the years before.

And I've bought a small poster of the main characters from The Big Lebowski for about $4 during the Beyond the Wall poster sale at campus. As usual, the posters were pretty much the same as last year and I did not see a single anime poster there either, besides the Street Fighter poster. Lame.

Does anyone know where I can find good anime posters at?

I spent about $400 the past few days. I upgraded my PS3 from a 20Gb to a 120GB system because...i kept running out of memory. Today I purchased Mirrors Edge, Assassins Creed, and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. I will also probably be at our local video store this weekend renting some games as i'm in trophy mode this weekend.

Two new things today, at BigLots.

Memories – interesting looking anthology that doesn't seem to have an English dub track. (I hate that Sony does that...) Been wanting some new anime, though.

Basic Instinct 2 (2006) – not quite sure why they even bothered with it... didn't feel like the first one warranted a sequel, except that I feel Catherine Tramell got away with it and wouldn't mind seeing it catch up with her. (Though I'm not gonna hold my breath...) With some of the stuff I've read I dunno if it's worth the $3 BigLots charges for DVDs, though.
