Has Bloodlust been discontinued? everywhere I look, it says its on order. Theres one exception though:

http://www.animecastle.com/pc-101303-21 ... t-dvd.aspx

I'm not sure if I can trust that place though. Especially because theres a section for "Hong Kong Imports".

Dunno. RightStuf seems to still have it but I dunno if the company that put it out in the US - Urban Vision - is around anymore. Frankly, the Vampire Hunter D movies I have are the only two releases I'm aware of by this company.

No, rightstuf doesn't have it. It only has the original Vampire Hunter D.

Hmm, seems the Urban vision site is currently not working. They were involved in a number of other releases, but it could be that they may have gone under and stopped distribution. Rightstuf used to have a discontinued products page, but I can't seem to find it. I can only find a no longer available page, which does not list Bloodlust yet.

Rightstuf is still accepting orders for it though, and when an item is discontinued they usually post the amount left in stock and remove the item as soon as they run out of their leftover stock. So that would tend to mean they can still get more from the manufacturer.

I noticed that Buy.com has it in stock as well, if that helps at all.

Are you looking at picking it up or just wondering if it is discontinued?

It's not available from Amazon.ca but is from Amazon.com... odd. I gotta say it is still being released if Amazon, which doesn't have it in stock, says it ships in 1-3 weeks. Though I could be wrong :(

Anime Castle does sell bootlegs, or at least they have an HD DVD link though I can't really find any bootlegs yet, but they do have a wide selection of region 1 DVD's as well, and if you bought it from them you should get the legit release.

I'll look around and see if any other Canada shipping sites have it in stock.

I would consider buying from Buy.com but they have no info on international shipping. I would rather not gamble.

Ya, looks like Boy.com doesn't ship to Canada.

You could use CDUniverse: http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.a ... ooglemovie

They do ship to Canada and it says ships in 1-2 days, so that would imply they have it in stock.

Isn't that what Amazon usually shows when something isn't in stock?

Wow. I guess this means Urban Vision isn't out of business, and D isn't discontinued. I checked that page like 2 days ago and it wasn't in.

Maybe? I really don't know. But 1-2 days is a rather short period of time for them to order something, get it in and ship it back out to ya. But maybe they are just guessing they will usually have replenishing stocks coming in shortly for most items. Ya got me.

And ya, it looks like RS has it in stock now.
