Have you seen the new vids on this game yet!? The PS3 is worth it just for this game.

I saw the new footage at E3 and while it was pretty good, it wasn't anywhere near as exciting as last years trailer. But then again I was never a big fan of the MSG series so I guess that's to be expected. But nevertheless, the game does look damn good.

Well, I'm not a real follower of the MGS series, but I have to admit, that fight scene at the end was pretty impressive. :)

FYI:

Raiden sounds queer because his voice actor, Quinton Flynn, really is gay.

Quinton Flynn did a great job with MGS2, so I'm looking forward to him reprising his role again.

For those who haven't seen it, MGS4 was finally demoed for the public, and the 15-minute video is available in it's entirety. You can stream it here. It looks fantastic, and while it's menu-heavy for a moment at the beginning, it's clear that the camo system has been streamlined much more than it was in MGS3. I'm praying on the possibility that it could be released on the 360, as Konami has said the possibility of going multi-platform is there, as I just can't afford to get a PS3.

PS3 losing MGS3's exclusivity would have as much impact to Sony as N64 losing Final Fantasy did to Nintendo.

I liked Quinton Flynn's performance too; although Raiden should have had a deep masculine like the Japanese version. Jap. Raiden = macho, NA Raiden = boyish.

I was mistaken regarding Quinton Flynn being the gay one. I was actually Cam Clarke, Liquid Snake's VA, who's gay.

Quinton Flynn still doesn't sound right as Raiden though...

I don't see how a manly, stern voice would have ever fit Raiden's character in the least. It would've been very out of place. It was his first mission, he was green and complained a lot. If he had sounded really tough through all that...well, it wouldn't have been very convincing.

Check Gamespy for a video on the new bosses.

Names: Crying Wolf, Raging Raven, Laughing Octopus, and Screaming Mantis

Deja vu?
