I play Guild Wars, although it's debatable as to whether it's a true MMORPG.

Though what's not debatable is that its boooooring . . . Hell I'd prefer to play Wow over Guild Wars (that's saying a lot coming from me!) ;)

Eh? You think Guild Wars is boring? I think it's a lot more fun than WoW's boring old "grind-grind-grind so you can be as good as everybody else" strategy. Good perhaps for people with a lot of time on their hands, but I already spend most of my day working and I don't particularly feel like coming home at night to a second job. (That's how a lot of my friends who play WoW describe it as; a second job.)

Oh well, to each their own, as I always say.

I have to agree with Zaxares here. I played WoW for about two months, but got completely sick of it. All I was doing was trying to level up so I could not suck and so I could catch up with my friends. By the time i got to lvl 49 I was so tired of it that I just gave up. (I was grinding and it all of a sudden struck me that this was the most pointless thing I have ever wasted my time on. At which point I uninstalled it). Guild Wars at least had a story that you progressed through as you played the game. Now, GW is not as involved as WoW is, especially in tactics and such in fighting, but it is a nice diversion to get some MMO play in. I wouldn't consider it boring per say, but it just depends on the person. My friend that plays WoW is not a fan of how simplistic GW is by comparison.

GW is pretty too look at, but that's pretty much it. And considering I found WoW to be terribly boring, well, it's not surprising that I found GW to be boring as well . . .

I see, you are not a fan of them in general, not that you liked WoW but found GW boring, you just found both of them boring. I got it now. Probably a good thing for you, as you wont waste a bunch of time playing them, as many people have. Or at least between those two anyway, I don't know if you play any MMO's or not.
