Has anyone seen the anime and the live action that could make a good comparison for me. I loved the anime but the live action is kinda dumb. What do you guys think.

Let me first welcome you to the forum randomuser83.

Now, if you've seen both, why do you need someone else to make a comparison? Or are you trying to say that the live action looks dumb, but you have not actually seen it yet?

IMO the Live Action version is superior in the sense that it's less reserved than the anime series. For whatever reason, J.C. Staff decided to tone down the anime version somewhat in the craziness department which I feel hurt some of the jokes and otherwise humorous parts of the series (which of course originate from the manga). Hence while the anime stays truer to the manga in terms of plot, I feel the LA series is more attune to the spirit of the manga.

Takenaka Naoto did a great job impersonating Franz Stresemann. He alone is worth the time.
(I added the link so you'd know my associations concerning that name.)

Glad you guys all liked it. What I was trying to say is that I only glanced at it and didnt think it was worth the time. But if you guys like it more then Ill give that a shot. Thanks for the recommendation.

I didn't think the show could get more crazy than it was! Perhaps the live action is worth a shot. And it'd be funny to watch just how the actors manage to be more crazy than their animated counterparts.

And I kinda want to watch someone being grabbed and have their hair forcefully cleaned live.
