Time for contest number 4!

The goal:
Recommend me the best Movie/OVA/OAV that you think I will like.

Run Time:
Due to the nature of this contest, and the fact that I may have to watch quite a few things, I am setting a tentative date of December 31st, at 11:59pm eastern time as the end, but may need to change it some due to time constraints on my part.

Rules:

1) Only one entry per person will be allowed, so pick the best one you've got.
2) The Movie/OVA/OAV should either be a standalone feature or the beginning of a set of titles. I don't want you recommending me, as an example, Samurai X Reflection if I have not seen the series.
3) The max runtime is 200 minutes.
4) Only titles that I have not seen will be eligible for entry into the contest. Refer to my ANN titles list in my signature as a way to make sure I have not seen it, and to gauge what I like.
5) Hentai titles are eligible as well, if you think one is good enough.
6) I will watch anything, except yaoi.

After I get through watching them all, I will chose a winner based on which title I liked the most.

The Prize:
First Place: Shadow Skill Box Set

I will contact the winner after the contest is over to get your address.

Good luck everyone!

Current titles submitted:
Cab329 - Sonic Boom Squadron (AKA: Onsoku Raigekitai) (AKA: The cockpit)
Caiobrz - Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora
Shgarland - My Neighbor Totoro
Dark One - Mobile Suit Gundam Seed C.E.73: Stargazer
41327 - Grave of the Fireflies
Flame-X - Soukyuu No Fafner ~Right of Left~
The Adict - Golden Boy
Mmsven - Inuyasha Movie 3

Yeah, it's tough. Just about all of the stuff I'd actually recommend are already up on your list already, and some of them wouldn't win.

AHHH! SHIT! I just ordered that fucking boxset yesterday!

Edit: I recommend Inuyasha Movie 3. I could only find 3 good choices, since you have watched most of the same stuff as I have.

This is a tough one, don't know if I'll be able to find anything, but I'll try.

I am just looking for something that is a rare gem I have either yet to see, or better yet, don't even know about  Though I realize it isn't the easiest of tasks, given the amount I've watched.

That'll work as long as knowing what is going on isn't dependent upon having seen the other movies/episodes. Nor will it spoil events in the others. (Usually movies for these long running series don't have much to do with the series or other movies, I just want to make sure before watching it).

It doesn't connect to the other movies at all, but like any movie based on a series, it connects to the series a little. It also shows some events that happen before the series.

All right, I know you haven't seen this one.

Sonic Boom Squadron (AKA: Onsoku Raigekitai) (AKA: The cockpit)
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... php?id=773

It's only thirty minutes long, and tells the story of an Ohka pilot and his mission to take out a US destroyer in WWII. I just watched it, and it's a rather sad piece, though it's pretty good.

Well, since you liked Please Teacher!, you will probably enjoy Please Twins!, the sequel-but-not-a-sequel to Please Teacher!

Personally I thought Twins was a lot better than Teacher; the humor was better, storyline was more believable and the ending more satisfying. The cast from Teacher show up for several cameo roles in Twins too, if you're missing Mizuho. :P

Please Twins! and Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora are both TV series. As well, Please Twins! exceeds 200 minutes.

Is it? Bleh. Ah well, I don't expect to win this contest anyway. Just consider it a recommendation for Acmurphy to watch sometime in the future.

Cab329, the rules say you can only enter ONE. Once again, I feel like I'm the only one reading the rules...
