Yeah, when I was 14 I thought that attack was hot, too.
But a few years later came Sakura and I liked her orange panties better. :D

Blanka (SFII) wasn't a protagonist, but I think he was advertized as a Kapoeira user.

Yeah but he wasn't the main hero. In every fighting game the lead is either karate or kung fu user.

I use these programs to color.
MS paint, Photo impact & Photoshop

I remember some capoeira female fighter in the latest Tekken games...

Yes but not as the main hero. Like how Street Fighter has Ryu as it's main character He's the main fighter who knows karate. My character is the main fighter of my stories except she is a capoeira
martial artist, there has never been a main character who's been
a follower of the art of capoeira. :)

You could get some good ideas for poses, from Tenjou Tenge, one of the male leads, Bob Makihara, does Capoeira.
I read the manga, it's really good but the last 40 chapters or so have been really really confusing.

Nice Goku! Really true to the original style and a dynamic pose.

As for capoiera, I imagine that the fact that the martial art is a Brazillian fighting style and that the fighting shows are done in Japan is the major reason they don't feature those characters more. It is probably a combination of several of the following issues:

= National pride regarding their own styles of fighting (karate, judo)
= The reverence and respect Japan still shows to the Chinese progenitors (a thread in itself, probably)
= Their ignorance about the details of capoiera and a reluctance to look stupid by screwing something up.
= Not wanting to be too weird so that it damages sales (more of their Japanese target audience will identify with Karate than Capoiera)

At least they don't promote sumo more. I really don't want to see the anime expertise of body animation usually applied to female anatomy applied to naked male body fat...
