Post subject:  Helpful Websites

I thought I would make a topic that was all about helping others. My mom's camera XD card had some corrupt data on it, so that you could not access any pictures on it. I found this recovery tool that was very helpful in getting the majority of pictures off it.

Now if anyone else has any helpful websites links feel free to post but please post links that are well known. For example, everyone knows how great Google is, so don't bother posting it.

So, anything helpful is okay?
Not a bad idea, actually.

Hm... what do I have...

For starters I really like Sheppard Software, an edutainment website.
Well, it may be dedicated to younger folks, but I'm sure that even older individuals in this forum can still learn a thing or two. :D

Nice sites guys! I'm sure they are handy.
Ok I have this one to share. http://www.teamviewer.com/download/index.aspx It's for a free secure software called "TeamViewer", it's used for 24/7 access to remote computers, including login/logout and remote reboot - optimized for server maintenance or home-office access. You don't have to install the program, you can just run it, and it works wonders. It's been really helpful. You can access other computers, and give assistance to friends and family.

Some of these recipes actually don't sound half bad - the one i noticed that was..different..would be the Pepsi Pork Roast. Never had a soda on a pork roast before.

Try at your own risk. :lol2: I want to try more of these recipes, I have only tried one so far. It was a chocolate dessert that didn't turn out right...my fault of course.

http://wordreference.com

Whenever you have to look a word up, WR comes to your rescue. The database is HUGE,and if you don't find it in the definitions you have 95% chances of finding it in the word-related forum threads. It's really excellent.

Wow, did not see that coming...

Lets try to keep this thread going. Modern's Library 100 best novels list. I suggest avoid the reader's list because it has been taken over by scientologists(sp?)...

Great for anyone wanting to know a bunch of classics to read.
