Shao WHAT?! :P2:

How such a crappy movie had such a grand soundtrack is a mystery i'll be asking myself all the way to the grave  ... But then again, 1997 seemed to be the year of great audio to bad movies. :wtf: Other examples include Batman & Robin, Spawn, Speed 2: Cruise Control, if i missed one please tell me.

I loved it! Gotta hand it to you wolfwood, you're definitely turning me into a fan of her work. That song as well as "9 Million Bicycles" both have positive feedback from me, for sure. :booyah:

I guess the point is whether we like it despite metal being our preferred genre of music, this song being an entirely different type and all...

My point sir is, there is no point, I just wanted to share it with you guys here.
I mentioned metal because it seems it's what you guys like better, so just to get your attention. :booyah:

I finally gave a full listen to the Make Yourself album by Incubus. I totally agree with what's been said of this album, it not only rocks but it's definitely a much more polished sound than what is heard in S.C.I.E.N.C.E.! :booyah:

The songs definitely have more attention to detail and only a select few give homage to some of the "messyness" that the previous album entailed. The inclusion of DJ Kilmore was a sweet choice. Not only does his beat flow well with the new and improved sound of the band but his is more of an ambient tone than his predecessor DJ Lyfe which was merely going crazy on the machine. Brandon's lyrics are more focused and improved and it is shown that the overall message still stands, only in an even better expressed way. Mike's guitar sound and Dirk's funky bass resound throughout the album making it a pleasant audio experience and Jose's drumming may be slower paced than what was presented in the prior album but it fits the improving sound of the band perfectly. Songs that stick with me after the listening include "Stellar", "Drive", "Pardon Me", "Priviledge", and "The Warmth".

Hm, I admit that was the only reason why I listened to the song... a friend of mine admires Katie Melua, and his tastes are pretty much on the soft, artsy side, if I may say so, and what I heard fits what I thought I would hear. While I do not limit myself to certain genres and I believe that there is music for every mood known to mankind I have to say I was a bit bored.

Do you consider punk bands who call themselves and claim to believe in the anarchist way of life the real deal? It's definitely not gonna appeal them to the masses, but if they do consider that their scripture, they don't care about any of that "getting popular for the mainstream" concept which is crap to them.

I believe such attitudes rarely survive the first profitable contract.

Yeah, they can complain all they want about the government and about how they wanna have a disorganized society, but where are they gonna get the bread and butter to get by every day?

In this world, it's always the dollars. Always has been, and if not, then try to see if the barter system gets you by at least a couple of days...

I was listening to Mortal Kombat Annihilation today and was surprised that they also have Rammstein's "Engel" and Scooter's "Fire" on the CD... totally forgot about these. It's been a few years since that disk last touched my CD player.
