I have to say I would have to stare in blank incomprehension.
Someone care to clarify?

hahah really? i did not know that all of those are canadian specific... some are obvious, but some i am surprised.

I will add the meaning that i learned living in canada.

"Last night, I cashed my pogey(i do not know what this is, but pogi in filipino means handsome. haha) and went to buy a mickey(a flask shaped size of liquour) of C.C.(canadian club, a whiskey) at the beer parlour(store), but my skidoo(brand of snowmobile) got stuck in the muskeg(swamp). On my way back to the duplex(a home that is split down the middle where each two sides are identical to one another sharing one wall with two separate entrances. two homes in one building), I was trying to deke(get past somebody by faking a direction, usually in sports) out a deer(an edible four legged animal sometimes with antlers on it's head), you see. Damn Chinook(weather term for, i think, a warm wind during the winter. also the name for the tasty spring salmon) melted everything. Then a Mountie(canadian mounted police on horse) snuck up behind me in a ghost car(police car with no badging and no light rack),and gave me an impaired(drunk driving charge). I was S.O.L.(shit out of luck), sitting there dressed only in my Stanfields(brand of underwear) and a touque(brimless knitted hat) at the time, and the Mountie, he's all chippy(angry) and everything - calling me a "shit disturber"(trouble maker) and what not.
What could I say, except "Sorry, eh?"

I wonder which ones people have never heard of and where they are from...

You mean native speakers of English? Yes, that would be an interesting question.
Thanks for helping out btw.

How to irritate your seatmate on a bus, plane, or train

1. Unpack your laptop
2. Open it with an air of solemnity to grab his attention
3. Click on this given link.

Sorry, I have no idea what's actually written there.

Good - as long as that's the only thing annoying you if you happen to be the seatmate. :P2:

Anybody ever heard of Snopes.com? It's a site where they confirm or debunk urban legends as true or untrue. The Disney section in particular is my favorite:

http://www.snopes.com/disney/disney.asp

The one about Belle appearing in Hunchback of Notre Dame is one i didn't know until just now. :D You have to look VERY closely!

And the "S-E-X" dust cloud in The Lion King, after looking at it closely, i agree that an "S" and an "E" are clearly present but the supposed "X" looks more like a "K" to me. Depends on your take.

Hehe...

And the Donald Duck "racist" remark is a good one, too. He obviously says "Doggone stupid little" but who CAN understand what Donald says?

When i checked the section of Aladdin telling teenagers to take off their clothes, i closely listened to the audio and i agree that Al was saying in the beginning, "Come on, good kitty" and then it seems like a second voice comes in and says the remark in a whispering matter so as to make it seem like it was Al saying it. Another thing, every time i heard the whispering voice say "Psst, take off your clothes", i always think it was Robin Williams saying it because although it was a whisper so anybody could've said it, the whisper had a slight tinge of Robin's voice in it. Once again, all depends on differing interpretations.

As his rooster gets older a ol' McDonald decides to get a new one for his hens.
So on the fateful day the two meet in the middle of the yard, glaring at each other.
Suddenly the old rooster says: "Oh, c'mon, we don't have to do this the hard way. You may be young, but I have lots of experience, so it's just gonna be a mess. Let's do it in a way that nobody gets hurt... let's play tag. You run after me and if you can catch me I'll step down peacefully and you can have all the chicks to yourself. Deal?"
"Okay, deal."
The old rooster starts running. The young rival after him like a flash.
BOOM!
The young rooster goes down in a pool of blood and the farmer locks his rifle.
"Damn! That was the fifth gay rooster in a row!"

Why didn't you post this video in the YouTube thread? :?:

The picture is from the Fail Blog, I made it a card by adding the text below and the little image in the lower right corner.

So you're saying Youtube vids aren't acceptable in terms of putting down something funny?! I thought it was funny and therefore should be put in this thread. If you really have a problem with that, i could care less.

I'm not starting another huge argument, but i'll put down whatever i find to be funny, whether it be a video, if i want to. Regardless, where i stand right now, i'll just leave it at this: I don't care about your lame personality, and i don't mind at all NEVER speaking to your gloomy ass for the rest of my natural life.

No, but I said in the very first posts that this thread was for PICTURES AND TEXT, and in a later post I said that videos should be put in the or a video thread.

Furthermore that "Hetalia" picture was not aimed at you. I just found the picture and wanted to post it. Your posting of that peach video and my questioning it at the same time was a mere coincidence, I kid you not. I should have made that clearer, sorry.
