zero_chaos,

lol, you do look like Justin Timberlake

It's funny how we end up imagining people look like the avatars they use, like it's an extension of themselves.

Hm... if I interpret the looks of your right arm correctly the role might suit you. Looks muscular.

Not really :x Actually here's a better picture of me at fanime.

I ran and flipped around for 4 days without any shoes on. It was fun but kinda awkward at the same time.

My battle scars from paintballing today.

The more notable ones anyway. The body hits didn't leave much since I was wearing quite alot. And these guns fired higher-than-the-norm velocity rounds, which shattered and somehow didn't leave much of a bruise. But they leave shrapnel with their harder shells which can cause some cuts in places.... but we had overalls to wear. Covered the arms and legs and all. So my hands were the ones that got cut up. Although I took quite a hit to the head. Got that while engaging a whole group of seniors in a freshers vs seniors battle. Went around then and fired away and took the retaliation like a man! Scored quite a number on them. Although it was the last game and nobody cared about rules anymore so its not like the 3 kills I had before return fire counted. So it was just a pretty crazy exchange of bullets until I ran out.

Overall I had alot of fun. Although charging the enemy nest which I thought had 3 enemies.... had 6 when I got closer. I got annihilated. Took non-kill hits all over my arms and thighs and guns, but one scored me in the ear. Which made it ring. And it was a killing shot. Only torso and head shots counted.

It got over the top of my mask and hit me where it wasn't covering.

Well, the pain and damage is a quarter of the fun. Looking at the damage and pain done to others is another quarter.

Besides, battle scars build character.....

In that case you have a bad kinda mask - "TJ Snapper" or what? :D
Mine gives good protection to the forehead and above. What label was it... I haven't been on the field for such a long time I don't know the brand of my mask anymore.
Internet says JT has kinda taken over the market... many retail stores I checked only sell JT stuff, but it seems they have improved their products a lot. Unbelievable return after the shitty stuff they sold at the beginning of the 90s.
In any case, if your mask does not protect the whole front of your head, wear an old basecap turned around. It protects your scull from the worst and, more important, your neck.

I don't do this too often, the opportunity does not arise too often... so I just go with rental gear. Even though I love it. Now if only my uni had some kinda paintballing club of sorts....

Found it.

In a few years you might regret it if you don't.
