Yeah, happy holidays, guys and gals.
Don't argue with your loved ones, preparing Xmas is stress.

Every year I like Christmas less and less. Now I'm old enough that people expect me to buy them shit. It's just a holiday meant to make companies more money, and for the government to waste taxpayers money on festive lighting in the harbour and commercial district. Boxing day is the only good part about Christmas.

The good thing about Xmas is to have a party of sorts and eat lots of good stuff - and last but not least: Can you imagine anyone who does not like receiving presents?
Of course, if you don't have a regular income and you're still implicitly expected to buy everyone gifts I would call that "expecting too much".

This Christmas has been by far the best in a long time. Now that I'm out of my depression and I've built some charisma I was able to have much more fun having the family dinner on Christmas eve. After that, I went over to my brother's house and got drunk on boozy cake and vodka and whiskey.

Hope you guys had a good time this Christmas. Had the usual family reunion and then took a beach trip. I got a little sun burned while attempting to get a tan... The heck, I don't understand why it's so hard for me to get tanned now.

Most laid-back Xmas for years. Girlfriend wanted to "celebrate in peace alone with her boyfriend", so we had no guests for dinner, which kinda disappointed the boyfriend. We always invited friends and I really missed that.
Received a few books, "The SAS survival Guide", "Volkerkunde" (a collection of texts by a popular German satirist), and "The God Delusion" from the girlfriend. The fact that a bookseller gave me "The Last Revolution" as a sort of counterpiece to Dawkins' work is really a funny coincidence. My Japanese guest family sent me a Yukata, snacks, and a one-volume Manga called "A small man and ill-humored Hanako-san" (小さいおじさんと不機嫌な花子さん) by Shibata Ken, which looks way more interesting than, say, "Eternal Sabbath" which they sent me a couple of years back for reasons unknown (I did mention now and then that I'm actually not interested in Manga). I should ask them to send me the "Hôrô Musuko" Manga for my birthday.

Kinda missed Christmas. Like it flew over my head. Didn't even listen to my few Japanese X'mas songs nor did I play that one X'Mas song on Project Diva Extend which I have access to right now.

Eve was my brother's wedding lunch(they actually got married ages ago, just having belated ceremonies) and the day after Christmas was my brother's wedding dinner. So it kinda just... flew over my head I guess.

I think I'll probably simply 'miss' my new years, since my friends like to be separated from me by sea.
