Just wanted to post here as an "official" welcome to Spazmaster666 for his new position as a Mod and Reviewer. With his inauguration, we also have the departure of Sublyminal, who is stepping down from writing reviews at the moment to focus on work. He will still be staying on as a mod for the time being though.

So that's why... well, his abilities as a reviewer should be good. He watches much and writes well.
I, on the other hand, write well but don't watch much.
And other people watch much and write horribly.
So Spaz is a good choice indeed. :D

Out of curiosity: Did you write this just now because I mentioned this new fact in Spaz' introduction thread or is it a coincidence?

lol, I was supposed to do it when I posted his review, but forgot. Your comment reminded me that I needed to post that he was a new mod/reviewer, and that Sub was stepping down so to speak.

Sub's stepping down? Also out of curiosity, how hard is it to write a review once in a while? I believe you guys watched a lot of anime, even before you had animetric, so it shouldn't even be a bother to watch new stuff.

Well, if you are going to review something it is usually is a good idea to watch it again beforehand, especially if you haven't seen it in a while. Sometimes life just gets really busy, and you have certain things you want to do with your spare time, and as that spare time gets smaller and smaller, you narrow down those items. Sub is currently doing a lot of work, about 60-80 hours a week, and has decided that he would rather not spend his free time working on reviews, or at least much of his free time anyway. (Think of reviewing as a combo of watching the title and writing the review) It's entirely up to him, but if he does have some free time he is welcome to write for the site still, he has just resigned his full time reviewer status.

It may seem what we have a lot of time, but with school and work, it's really hard for me to watch anime once in a while and review it. Writing reviews comes easier to some people, but with me, I gotta have time to think about what I'm typing, and thinking about how it's going to sound, read, ect. Real life does get in the way, and we do reviews as a hobby, so when real life takes over, I believe that real life should be priority over anything else, then when things calm down, then you can go back to doing the things you love, whether it be anime or anything else.

Yeah, before, I had plenty of time to watch anime, since I'm a college student, but I'm now at the end of the road, and in my final year as a college student, so I'm doing really hard stuff at school to pass, and sometimes I can't watch anime as I used to. To tell you the truth, I haven't watched anything significantly new since fall 2006 and hopefully I can catch up to current animes as soon as I can. It's fun reviewing and telling others your opinion about a particular anime, but it is a hobby after all :P

Holy sh*t, that's slavery! More than 11 hours per day, seven days a week?
I hope it pays off eventually... can't be good for mind and body...
