Synopsis:
When detective Takayasu Higashino rescues the lovely young Ayane from being raped, he didn't know he was getting into a whole lot of trouble. For one thing, Takayasu looks like Shingo -- Ayane's dead stepbrother. Ayane and Shingo are supposed to inherit the family legacy, but it seems some relatives aren't too happy with this arrangement. Inevitably, Ayane asks for Takayasu's help with her family troubles. Takayasu must get to the bottom of things fast, before Ayane shares her stepbrother's tragic fate.

Review:
When I read the title "Bondage House", I imagined a sleazy den full of ropes and chains, with people tied up all over. Who would have thought that Bondage House would be about a bunch of greedy people vying for the inheritance?

Bondage House's storyline easily clinches soap opera status -- I can't even count how many TV dramas have featured an inheritance subplot somewhere along the way. While Bondage House is one of the first hentai titles I've seen which gravitates towards this story direction, the fact remains that this is nothing really new. Shortly after Takayasu agrees to help Ayane, Ayane is abducted by her malicious kin. She is subsequently drugged, stripped naked, and hog-tied (as seen on the video cover). It's very obvious that this particular sequence is where they derived the title "Bondage House". I can only wonder what the original Japanese title was. Eventually, Ayane's despicable uncles and their henchmen decide to ravage her body to their satisfaction before trying to kill her.

How Bondage House ends is admittedly a bit surprising though, and I won't spoil it for you here. The visuals practically scream low budget -- from the generic, undetailed backgrounds to the equally generic and crudely drawn characters. Do not be fooled by the cover art like I was. The brightness level of the scenes also shift a lot, and I had a hard time watching the video in general. I don't know if it's just my copy or if there's something wrong with my VCR. Sex-wise, Bondage House is very detailed -- especially during the bondage sequence. Ayane's abuse is the main hentai highlight of this title, and it seems that all the hardcore stuff were reserved especially for this part of the show.

Overall, Bondage House is somewhat okay in terms of story, but it certainly would have greatly benefitted from better art and animation.
