Synopsis:
A catastrophic earthquake has left Tokyo, and most of the Earth for that matter, under the sea. Aika is a salvager who retrieves various remains from the watery ruins. When Aika accepts the dangerous mission of locating and obtaining the mysterious Lagu, she discovers that she's not the only one after it. Armed with her specially powered bustier, Aika's going to show everyone just what she's capable of!

Review:
I kid you not when I say that Agent Aika, or simply Aika (as it is called in Japan), features just about every kind of panty shot conceivable. In fact, insane amounts of fan service (i.e. nudity) make up this whole series. Oh yes, there is a story somewhere... but that's not really the point when its Aika we're talking about.

Aika is a salvager who works for a small company run by a father and daughter tandem. Alas, the company isn't exactly successful, and money is needed desperately. Thus, Aika accepts the very dangerous job of acquiring Lagu for a hefty sum. Don't ask me what Lagu is, because I still don't know exactly even after watching all four episodes. What I can tell you is it's something that can destroy the world. The boss' daughter Rion joins Aika on this particular mission, and the two set off. Later on, Aika and Rion are captured by Hargen -- an effeminate but over-sexed man who wants Lagu and Aika (and just about every pretty girl) for himself. Hargen commands a huge battleship manned exclusively by droves of cute girls in mini-skirts, which should give you a hint as to how much boobs, legs, and panties you'll see along the way. Alongside Hargen is his obssessive sister Nena, who is jealous of Aika. Let's not forget the other salvager Gusto, who's also after Lagu. He's just crazy about Aika too.

Of course, a heroine just isn't a heroine without a little transformation magic. When Aika's special bustier is activated, she becomes an ultra-powerful totally kick-ass superwoman who can take on a whole armies by herself. And what a transformation sequence it is! It's touch-y, it's feel-y... aww, you've just got to see to believe and understand why this anime is also known as Aika: The Naked Mission.

The art and animation are pretty good, especially where the girls are concerned. There is no unattractive female character (well, except maybe for Bandra), but the males aren't anything special to behold. Hargen could've been a hottie, but he is just too feminine-looking for my tastes. Gusto is too rough around the edges to be considered good-looking. I can't comment on the English dubbing because I watched the subtitled version. I should mention that Rei Sakuma (also Shampoo in "Ranma 1/2") plays the lead role of Aika.

Suffice to say, if you're looking for a meaningful anime experience, you're definitely not finding it here. But if you like bras, panties, boobs, butts, and legs... well, that's a different story. Maybe I would've enjoyed Aika more if I were male. But then maybe not. Who knows?

Miscellanies:
Since this series is only four episodes long, I think they should've just released it in one DVD.
