Review:
With a serial rapist running rampant across the city, policewomen Atsuko and Kei certainly have their hands full. Especially since they can't seem to stop pleasuring one another, even when they're on a stakeout! But when their compromising position affords them a front row seat to another dastardly rape, they finally catch a glimpse of what's really going on. It's a frightening revelation that will not only pit them against ravenous tentacle monsters, but an evil cult whose masters are looking for a way to attain the theoretical fountain of youth.  With their failed experiments raping any and every woman they can find, Atsuko and Kei might not be so much the hunters, but the hunted!

They're not the only two caught up in this whole sordid business however, for Kei's bother Kenji has inadvertently become one of their unlucky experiments. He, unlike the rest of his human-turned-demon brethren, still has some semblance of control over his inner monster, but it comes at a price. It's only through sexual gratification that he can calm the beast within and turn himself back into a human, and his girlfriend is the all too lucky volunteer standing between him and inhumanity. I say lucky because she still seems to enjoy it as his dick explodes in size and his newfound tentacles get to work on every hole they can find. It's only a matter of time before the cultists discover his unique ability to withstand their drug however, and once they do he may just have a use for that beast the dwells within him after all.

Amid a flurry of tentacle beasties running wild, lesbian cops with a fondness for sexual mischief and a veritable horde of bald female cultists (why must they always be bald!), Sacrilege sounds fantastic on paper. Right up until you press play and catch sight of Atsuko and her huge butch-esque body anyway. She may be a mountain of woman who's ready to crush any man or beast who stands in her way, but that's hardly the type of woman I want to see having sex.  And the fact that the English dub makes her sound like a drag queen isn't doing her any favors either.

After the shock of Atsuko and her burly physic start to wear off a number of other issues start to become apparent. The first being that, even with all the sexual perversion afoot there really isn't much taking place onscreen. Instead of giving us an erotic sexfest, Sacrilege decided to take the much trickier route of focusing on its convoluted and largely uninteresting storyline to keep our attention. When they got to the end and people started using magic and some sort of deity came to life I just gave up trying to figure out what the heck happened to a story about some old guys trying to become young again. I was just glad to be at the end of what turned out to be a hentai title filled with squandered promise and that's about it.

Sacrilege is really a failure of content and execution. Decent animation and a tease of sexual debauchery aren’t going to save you when you then skimp on the sex to focus on a story that doesn't make any sense. Even the sex we got either hid or shadowed out any of the naughty bits so we knew what was going on just couldn't actually see it in any detail. If that isn't the final slap to the face I don't know what is.
