“All women are sex objects that satisfy themselves with a man’s penis,” and with that so begins Dirty by the Dozen. A line which is definitely an overture of things to come in this sadistic tale of two cousins, Shin and Kei, who’ve been recruited to train the female teachers at their school by their Uncle/headmaster. Train them for what you say? To be the best possible sex slaves they can be, naturally, so they can get top dollar when they’re sold at auction. With twelve teachers split evenly between them, the two cousins, in their deep seated hate for one another, decide to make a little wager. Whoever can make the most money off their women, whose prices reflect the quality to their training, wins the bet. This doesn’t bode well for the teachers at the school though, who’re about to be forced into sexual submission.
I wasn’t too sure what I had gotten myself into when I first started watching Dirty by the Dozen. The first scenes start out not so innocently enough, with an unknown man blackmailing a teacher into having sex with him, in an effort to keep her lesbian relationship with another teacher a secret. That wasn’t too unusual, though his strange looking pink penis with a bright red tip did have me tilting my head in wonder, but it wasn’t until the next scene that I really got a taste of what was to come. That’s when one teacher, who’s unwilling to have sex with Kei, results in her getting kicked in the face. After which she promptly stops resisting and commences pleasuring Kei as her training begins. Thankfully there isn’t much more physical abuse towards the women, though they’re still getting violated against their will. That, however, is par for the course and really shouldn’t put off most hentai watchers.
The story rotates from Kei having sex with one teacher to Shin having sex with another teacher or two and then back again. Every now and again they talk about what’s going on with their Uncle, giving him updates on their progress and taking pot-shots at one another. With twelve teachers in all, they really don’t have time to pussyfoot around, quickly moving from one scene to the next to fit all these women in. As such, only a few of the women are developed into the story in any sort of meaningful way. Namely the two lesbian teachers, one who is only having sex to keep the other untouched, but as one would figure, guys who go around training women as sex slaves to be sold at auction don’t exactly keep promises. The only other woman of note is Ms. Hashimoto, who is possibly the only character in the entire cast that is actually attractive. She’s the shining star in a sea of very, very poorly designed characters. To look at it you would almost think it’s an amateur production, but no, it’s part of the infamous Vanilla Series, but even by those standards it fails horrendously. Sure, animation quality across hentai titles is consistently lousy, and the trend continues here, but they at least try to keep up a general level of good looks. There’s really no excuse for having such unappealing characters, whatever way you slice it.
Even though almost the entire release is focused on sex, there are just too many obstacles for it to truly be pleasurable. Between the unimpressive character designs, weak animation, and intermittent violence against women, it’s difficult to really enjoy what you’re watching. That isn’t to say it’s all bad, there are some titillating scenes as they vary it up with letting multiple teacher get in the action. Naughty scenes include many of the normal acts one comes to expect with a couple of extraneous happenings. With so many women there are a couple deflowering scenes, an enema scene with a little scat content, and a couple various toys that get used throughout. Of particular note is their abundant use of x-ray scenes, giving you an internal view of what’s going on. Those are usually hit or miss, but here they fail since their primary use is to cut down on animation and detail levels.
Even though there are innumerable problems with Dirty by the Dozen I really can’t say I disliked it. For all intent and purposes it’s not good, but by golly there’s just something about it that kept me interested. Maybe it’s the rivalry between cousins, Ms. Hashimoto and her underhanded trickery, or the bittersweet ending that did it. Whatever the reasons, Dirty by the Dozen didn’t entirely rub me the wrong way, but what it will do for you I don’t presume to know.
